The Techhead Story

|
On the 22nd of November 2000, Tim Fussell founded Techhead Interactive from the
second bedroom of his apartment in Dee Why on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. For the
first year of operation Techhead was run as a part-time business whilst Tim retained
full-time employment to keep the wheels turning. Every night and weekend was spent
responding to email enquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders or invoicing
for work completed.
Anthony Wood joined the company in 2001 as a director and shareholder, adding a
wealth of IT experience and qualifications to the Techhead business.
In 2002, both Tim and Anthony stepped away from the comfort of full-time employment
and braced themselves for the challenge of running a small business. In 2003 Techhead
was successful in obtaining a Telstra Dealership making Techhead Interactive a complete
information and communication technology company.
5 years on, Techhead Interactive have employed over 20 staff and is respected as one
of Australia’s leading information and communication technology companies. Techhead
headquarters are located in Frenchs Forest, Sydney and Techhead has over 150 associate
offices around Australia. Techhead Interactive has also been awarded 77th place
in the prestigious 2006 BRW FAST 100, 90th place in the 2007 BRW Fast 100 awards and 79th place in the 2008 BRW Fast 100 awards.
This award is in recognition for outstanding performance in business and a result
of year on year growth that exceeds 67% over 8 years.

Tim Fussell
Chief Executive Officer
Tim Fussell founded Techhead Interactive in 2000 with a focus on export of telecommunications
products. Tim’s background and tertiary qualifications are in Tourism with additional
qualifications in Sales and Marketing.
Tim has been working in the information and communication technology industry since 1996 with sales and management positions
in organizations that include Hutchison Telecoms and Tech Pacific Australia.
In Tim’s spare time he can be found on Dee Why Beach as a volunteer Surf Life Saver
and in the colder months as a volunteer with Thredbo Ski Patrol. Tim is an avid
skier and cyclist and has dedicated a lot of his personal time to obtain medical
certifications that allow him to volunteer in mountain rescues that include search,
rescue, resuscitation and evacuation.

Anthony Wood
Chief Operating Officer
Anthony Wood joined Techhead Interactive as a director in 2001 taking on the ownership
of finance, operations and engineering. Following the completion of a Bachelor of
Civil Engineering in 1994, Anthony spent a number of years with the Water Board
prior to traveling abroad. Whilst overseas, Anthony ran a number of small businesses
in Canada and the UK giving him a real taste for small business success.
In addition to holding a Bachelor or Civil Engineering Anthony holds an extensive
range of Technical Certifications with key technology vendors that include Microsoft,
Avaya, LG Aria, BlackBerry and Netgear.
Anthony is kept busy in his spare time juggling his family and 2 children under
3. Anthony is a keen golfer and when not in the office, can be found wandering around
the rough at Mt Broughton Golf & Country club or planning the next family camping
trip.

Stuart O’Callaghan
National Sales & Marketing Manager
Stuart O’Callaghan joined Techhead Interactive in 2006 as National Sales and Client
Services Manager. As a Senior Executive, Stuart is responsible for the direction
and management of all Techhead sales and client services into small, medium and
large enterprise clients.Stuart is also responsible for vendor relationships and
identifying new opportunities for expanding the business.
Prior to Joining Techhead, Stuart spent eleven years with Hutchison Telecoms in a number
of roles that included Senior Sales, Marketing and Customer relationship management.
Stuart is a keen cyclist and adventure sportsman.

Kieran Kirkpatrick
Operations Manager
Kieran joined Techhead in March of 2005 as a Client Services Representative. With
a Degree in Telecommunications Engineering he quickly moved into the role of Mobile
and Wireless Data Specialist where he spent his time providing Techhead clients
with BlackBerry, Mobile Broadband and PDA device support. In addition Kieran has
led the development team of Techhead.Net, the internal CRM of Techhead Interactive.
Since August of this year Kieran has taken on the role of Operations Manger which
includes the management and development of operations, purchasing, warehousing and
technical services.
Prior to joining Techhead Interactive Kieran spent a year living in London and travelling
Europe and before that working in the Menswear department of Myer.
In his spare time Kieran is a keen runner, frequently running races that include the City2Surf.
In 2007 Kieran ran in the Techhead Interactive team and finished in a top performing
time of 67mins 20secs.

Suzie Archibald
Finance Manager
Suzie joined Techhead Interactive in 2006 as Finance Coordinator with a wealth of
experience managing the finance of small business. Suzie was promoted to Finance
Manager in June 2007 with additional responsibilities on the Techhead Executive
Team.
Suzie is responsible for the management of the Techhead Interactive finance team
along with daily management of financial assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable
and payroll. Suzie has worked in accounts for small business since 1998 working
with Kumon and other businesses in the refrigeration and catering industry.
In her spare time Suzie likes working on her investment property portfolio and enjoys music,
good food and great wine.
